MR Eazi feat Angélique Kidjo - Orokoro

In my concept, I try to explore this idea of spirituality and icon. It’s very important for me to make a music video around the dance and the singing. A true spiritual musical.

In my work, I love developed visuals with movements and people. That’s why i’m interested in the rituals.

All the artistic direction was inspired by the Voodoo aesthetic. With Eazi, we wanted to spoke about the original country of Angelique. The Benin, birthplace of voodoo.

During my research, I discovered Ouidah at the same time spiritual place of Voodoo culture and a place of slavery in the 17th century.
The colors, and the positions of people at the end are inspired by traditional clothes, reference about the slavery and the women warriors : The Amazones of Dahomey.
